Alexander Brandes has been part of the RITTERWALD team in Berlin as an intern since January 2026.
He gained consulting experience in the field of Mergers & Transactions during an internship at FGS Global. In addition, he brings process-related experience from the German SME sector. At the medical technology company Eckert & Ziegler, he completed an internship in Controlling, while at defence manufacturer KNDS he gained insights into operational project management.
Alexander Brandes completed a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, Law & Economics at IE University in Madrid and Segovia. As part of his final thesis, he focused on impact finance in the context of sovereign wealth funds. During his studies, he also founded the IE Dach Society, which has since grown into the second-largest student-led university club.
