Then be a (Senior) Consultant in our M&A competence teams in Frankfurt / Main or Berlin and advise at the board and management levels of our clients together with other RITTERWALD experts.

For European companies in the housing, energy, facility and property management industries, we develop growth and restructuring strategies, devise concepts for decarbonizing housing stock, make their ESG performance visible and align organizational structures for future efficient and sustainable growth. We leverage potential along the entire value chain of our clients and advise them on investment decisions, M&A projects and financing solutions.

Your tasks:
  • Expert in the M&A team – You will advise companies and investors on strategic acquisitions and disposals as well as accompany the entire transaction process from target approach, due diligence and valuation to post-merger integration. You will analyze markets and competitors, find suitable target companies or buyers and set transaction perimeters.
  • Industry trends & future-oriented topics - You will deal with socially relevant topics such as growth, digitalization, sustainability and climate change, as well as evaluate research results in the team.
  • Ideas & concepts - You will develop innovative strategies in cooperation with our clients.
  • Keeping your finger on the pulse of the market - With the latest market analyses and benchmarking, you enable the best-in-class performance of our customers.
  • Business and liquidity planning - You will prepare cost-, revenue- and process- analyses and accompany M&A transactions.
  • Articles & Studies – You will write and publish on your key topics, participate in external seminars and conferences and support us in client acquisitions.
Your profile:
  • Bachelor, Master, Diploma - You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, economics or the natural sciences.
  • Work experience - You have relevant work experience, preferably in a professional consulting environment and in the area of corporate finance / M&A.
  • Business acumen - You grasp economic interrelationships, have a strong understanding of the financial market, are quick and eager to learn, and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Social interest - You follow socially relevant topics and innovations (sustainability, digital transformation, smart city) as well as topics in the housing industry (energy-efficient real estate, innovations in the real estate sector).
  • Personality - We are looking for colleagues who are authentic, open-minded team players, who are motivated, committed and flexible in working with us.
  • Negotiation skills in German and English
