The fourth edition of RITTERWALD's Sustainable Housing Outlook addresses the role of social and affordable housing providers in sustainable urban development. It covers the EU Green Deal as umbrella for EU’s climate ambitions, also in urban development. In the UK, the sustainable (re)develoment agenda is robustly supported by the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill that became law in October 2023. The Outlook explains the UK Levelling-up policies, including the changing role of Homes England and the growing relevance of Place-Based Impact Investments by institutional investors.
Special feature in this edition is Northern Island. And we also include two Dutch cities that for their urban redevelopment and regeneration approach called on the Amsterdam office of RITTERWALD for support.
