RITTERWALD advises HögforsGST on strategic partnership with Oventrop
Berlin, 11 August 2025 – Management consultancy RITTERWALD advised and supported HögforsGST, a portfolio company of Intera Partners, on its strategic partnership with the Oventrop Group. As part of the transaction, Finnish heating network specialist HögforsGST is acquiring 100% of Oventrop subsidiary Oventrop Energy & Network (formerly Kring), based in Haiger. In return, the Oventrop Group will become a shareholder in HögforsGST.
The partnership will allow both companies to combine their strengths in the areas of smart heating and cooling solutions and jointly drive growth in the European heating network market. The acquisition will strengthen HögforsGST's presence in Central Europe, while Oventrop Energy & Network will benefit from the Finnish company's technological expertise and innovative strength. The Oventrop Energy & Network brand name will be retained and the Haiger site will continue to operate.
